Phrag Eric Young 'flava'

Hi, I have just flowered a seedling of eric young using the flava besseae. Unfortunatly, the pouch looks all squashed? This is a first flowering and I have read that they can sometimes be 'odd' when flowering for the first time. Has anyone had any experience with strange flower forms that work themselves out in subsequent flowerings?

I grow this one like my besseae and longifolium, never had a problem with light.

I think a lot of plants produce weird flowers the first time. I've had some orchid/non orchid plants bloom like they'd been on crack.
