    Default Dendrobium speciosum var pedunculatum

    At long last people! Woke this morning to find several buds had opened! smaller than i expected, but hey, im happy. Apparently it smells like ant bait to mum, but it has a nice creamy scent to me.

    FYI, each bloom is about the size of my thumb nail-you can see it there, except im holding the bloom at the base of the individual stalk thingy...

    Thanks Al, another spike has one open in the last few hours. Its amazing to watch them slowly creep open! On the central spike, there is what looks like a peloric bloom-it looks like two buds stuck together. Should be interesting!
