My fairly beautiful jewel from the isle of Leyte.
In some literatures they called it Aporum wenzelii, but I retained the name since they are genetic related to other Dendrobium species.

Cute little thing. I have not seen it before.
always nice seeing it!
It is a jewel, indeed! I like it!
This small orchid is one of my favorite species.
I think Ron has this plant since they both lived in the same isle.
Cheers.

Mabuhay!
@philsDC......congratulations. How do you take care of it? i had that one before but it just died on my care. Does it need lots of sunlight? water? thanks for the inputs
I bought this plant naturally growing in dead branch.
So far, I haven't bought any uprooted specimens from this plant.
I just observed that this plant does not like being watered too much.
It prefers bright filtered sunlight and cooler conditions.
It likes being mounted than potted as rooted get rot when overwatered or soggy.
I grow this in Bukidnon, the climatic condition is equivalent to Laguna or sometimes Baguio which is very cool in the morning till evening.
It doesn't need fertilizers to bloom or grow.
By the way, this plant is seasonal bloomer.
It blooms when many new shoots are fully grown.
What a gorgeous plant!!
