    Default Laelia purpurata



    First time bloom. Purchase orchid Feb. 2010, bare root plant, had 3 stems. Flower measures 4 inches. Second sheath in backround, nothing yet in second sheath.

    Gorgeous !!! Awesome for a first time bloom, looks a lot like C. purpurata 'Cindarosa', if not one of its offspring. Cindarosa I think has a HCC or a AM by the AOS.

    Beautiful! I just bought a variety of this, a seedling, so it will be fun to see what the blooms turn out to be. Hope it blooms as lovely as yours!
