Anyway, what can I do to help the poor Den?

Help, Burned Den!
My aunt purchased a Dendrobium, and I came to her house this weekend and she'd put it in direct sunlight and burned an entire leaf to a crisp. >_< Augh, why does no one listen to me, I told her not to!
Anyway, what can I do to help the poor Den?

Not much you can do at this point but cut the leaf off and apply cinnamon to the cut. If you leave the leaf on, infection can set in to the damaged tissue.
One leaf ain't too bad. Could have been a lot worse!

I wonder if it was really burned now. I talked to her when she got home, and looked at where she kept it. It was behind a sheer white curtain with no direct sun. What are other possible causes of a leaf turning yellow and shriveling?
