    Wink My Cnta. Why Not 'Roundabout' AM/AOS

    Okay, Here are a couple of pics of my mini cattleya that I have been bragging about. I just love a compact plant like this one. It was difficult to photograph because of the small flowers, but I did my best. If I get a chance, I will try to take it outside in the natural light and see if I can get a better shot.

    Anyhoo, here she is:

    Wow, that is a beauty, and look at all of those healthy roots! I'm jealous. My orchids aren't doing well as far as roots go. At least my Phal's aren't doing so hot. I don't overwater them ,they still aren't healthy.

    Thanks! Maybe your Phals need more light? I know that is such an obvious response, but generally when folks are having troubles it boils down to water and light. From your other messages here in Orchidtalk I can see you understand the water issue. I would give them more light if possible. They will probably like it anyway.

    Default maybe...

    the lighting could be the issue. Before they were getting too much light(the buds wouldn't open they seemed 'synged' together), so I moved them to a more shady area. With the darker and shorter days, I may need to relocate them. Thanks.

    Just an update: My Why Not 'Roundabout' is STILL in Bloom! I can not believe how long these blooms are lasting. This little catt just keeps putting out the flowers!
