This Maudiae alba just keeps amazing me - I've even decapitated one of the spikes that should be in bloom now, and it still has 2 more spikes and so much new growth, that 2 or 3 more spikes wouldn't surprise me. Not sure if the photo shows that the leaves are mottled a light and darker apple green and the blooming spike is a good 13" tall and ramrod straight, practically without any staking. The bloom balances on top of the spike so that it doesn't tip in any direction. The texture of the plant overall is deceptively soft - this is one of the strongest paphs I've had - and again, I'm taken with the faiirrieanum influence.
