    Default Phalaenopsis aphrodite

    Hi,

    this species is endemic to the Philippines and is correctly called Phalaenopsis aphrodite subsp. aphrodite, unlike its relative subsp. formosana, which occurs only in Taiwan.
    the difference is in the callus, which shows elevated "teeth" in our species.

    very nice specimen ron! Thumbs up!
    I also have this beauty, got it for a dollar with branching blooms, sadly it was one that was struct by the tree durng typhoon. The floral was badly caputated but d plant is save.
