Sobralia something-a-rather-who-dunnit

Ok, so i bought this from my good friend from my OS, at the local market, but i DONT HAVE AN ID. Can someone help out? If its any help at all, the new leaves are pubescent, meaning they have little brown hairs all over them.

Ya looks like a Sobralia, can't id. the species though without a bloom pic.

Yeah agree with Amey Jordan. I used to have Sobralia macrantha, a really lovely orchid, grows into a specimen size very quickly. Although the blooms are ephemeral the plant bears a lot of them that open successively and they look amazing!

probably macrantha.Only one I've seen offered for sale in OZ so far..

FYI, im in NZ, not oz, and they both of us have several species available
