Vanda coerulea

Jungle collected second time blooming for this year, the first time all the flowers peloric, some buds blasted, again this time the flowers initially peloric then blasted only one is perfect as you can see the other bud dried.Dont know what wrong only happen to this clone.

I hope so Yew never mine I will wait the next season will give more minerals than usual one, thanks.

Just a thought... I see you have a spider crawling around on your flower. When I find those on my vanda, there usually is also tiny bugs present. Maybe the bugs are getting to your buds?? I don't know, it's a total guess. Its just that lately I keep noticing that if I have a vanda that is sick I usually also find spider webs down in the leaf axils. Hope you figure it out...the flowers are very nice.

Hi Connie thanks for your suggestion I already observed this spider for quite sometime he never do anything except to catch the insects, most of the flowers I noticed some of this spider not this one keep changing the color according to the color of flower to fool the insects. I checked but the leaf axils so far so good clean.

As Yew mentioned, an interesting specimen. Hopefully you will be able to solve the bud blast issue. In the mean time, you at least have a spider standing guard on the one bloom the plant did give you.

Interesing. I thought coerulea does not flower in tropical lowland conditions...

I don't know how I missed this! Very exciting! The only coerulea that I have are selfed. They bloom and do better here in Florida. I love yours Zain!
