Santa Barbara Orchid Estate Annual Show

Any one going to be attending this event? It is July 8 - 10. There will be multiple displays, demos, etc. (Including plants for sale, I'm sure) It's in Santa Barbara (big surprise) at the Warren Showgrounds.

Forrest - I take it you are in LA? If you see a redhead drooling over the Floofballs, that's me. lol

Im in Santa Cruz (about an hour south of San Francisco).

what day are you planning on going?

Ohhhh, almost home! I grew up in the bay area. I am planning to go either Saturday or Sunday.

Thats right torture me , I used to go to horse shows in SB. Have a good time ,think of me stuck in So. Misery . lol . Gin

well? how was it? what all made its way home with ya?

I actually showed amazing restraint!! Only one little paph came home with me. But I had a great time, saw some fabulous plants. It was hot though. I also got a chance to meet the grower I bought my Winston Churchill from. He was great, had lots of advice and even offered to help me out if I wanted to try pollinating it when it blooms...

I didnt. sadly I was not able to muster the time and or funds this year. Oh well. Next year Ill go and show Diane hows its done! One plant! geez I didnt even know that was an option!
