    Default Restrepia contorta

    This orchid flowers better when the nights are colder. I bought it in Belgium with only a number on it so the grower knew what he was selling. But I took it to the Pleurothallis Society in The Netherlands and it was there named a Restrepia contorta. This year it has given me two seed pods, one I rescued just in time and is now happily growing in vitro. The other I wanted to set mature seed, but it shriveled and died on me unfortunately (sorry Jordan....)

    But has BIG flowers!!!!
