This unknown orchid species is from southern Philippines, an epiphyte, growing in mossy and mixed dipterocarp rainforest.
Inflorescence is generally short and flowers are smaller than Cymbidium bicolor and coloration is similar to Cymbidium finlaysonianum.
Maybe it could be a hybrid between 2 Cymbidium species.
In its situ, there are 4 Cymbidium species growing in tall trees: Cymbidium bicolor, Cymbidium finlaysonianum, Cymbidium atropurpurea, Cymbidium chloranthum and Cymbidium sp. (an unknown species related to Cymbidium finlaysonianum with charateristics of broad and coriaceous leaf, and floral stem is short and prostrate, no flowers seen at this time)
