I am growing my orchids on my patio in Orlando Florida in a east facing location. I keep my orchids on the patio 24/7 until the night time temperature forecast note's 55F or lower, at which point I will bring them inside. My first orchid was a Phalaenopsis Noid Pink with a yellow lip in April 2010 which is still alive.
