Exquisite! Do you have a special program to put the name of the flower and your name on the photo? I would love to know how to do that.
I really like the lip on this one.
Maura, many photo programs have this capability. I think you can even do this on Photobucket's website.

Hmm, very unusual but interesting form, nice lip but I don't like the muddy color margins of the petals.
Pretty colors!![]()
Love this orchid flower, MaurÃ**cio! Beautiful photo too.
Cheers,
BD
PS - Maura - instead of putting the name on the photo, I put the name on the file of the photo so that I can update the name without messing up the photo. So instead of 12384.jpg I use cattley-whatever_x_whatever.jpg. No software needed.

MaurÃ**cio,
I have to agree with Amey.
And it's not only the margins of the petals. This image and further more all your images have a so called muddy look. The yellow isn't bright, the veins are brown, the purple or red is a wine color and the leafs are olive green. From experience I know that in reality the colors of this flowers are brighter.
This can be an effect you like and therefor you present your images with this particular look.
If not, you may have a problem with your camera or your image processing software.
