Is this virus?

Hello friends. About two weeks ago I divided a huge cattleya plant I have. Today I found this leaf in one of the divisions. I had been seeing getting kind of yellowish, but I thought it was just stress or shock from the division. Now I am worried because maybe it's virus. The mother plant seems ok and I don't see anything like this on it. I've had it for many years now. The other divisions seem ok, although some have small yellow areas. Please advise. I fertilized it after the division. Thank you!

Looks fungal or bacterial to me. Spray it with liquid sulphur or a chemical fungicide and see what happens.
The other better option would be to cut the leaves and dust the cuts with flowers of sulphur. It could also be sunburn, i got a new greenhouse and i am currently shifting my orchids once every day because some get sunburnt and some dont. This looks similar

I am getting my greenhouse "remodeled" and moved my plants from place. I think this ones are getting some direct sun rays for a little while in the afternoon.

Doesn't look like virus to me, its just aging of older leaves due to water and light stress.

My new greenhouse is sheltered from early morning and all afternoon sun by the palms on the east and the house on the west.BUT, it gets full midday sun, so i put up a double layer of shade cloth, and it seems like it may need a third! The greenhouse is also a simple plastic cover design, so it doesnt have vents, and they are very tricky to make with this greenhouse, so the hot air stays in, even with the door flap rolled up! I have a powerful fan for air circulation, but the hot air still sits, it doesnt cool or exit the house. Some of my Hoya and a few of my orchids are suffering! But i have plans....

I've had that same thing happen to some of my cattleya leaves. I don't know what causes it but I don't believe it's a virus.

No, that is just stress on that orchid's leaf. It will not go away and that leaf will come off, but the plant is probably fine. Be sure to give the roots a once-over just to be certain all is good under the bark.
