too big for a posed shot, so here are two spikes amidst a thicket of Phalaenopsis stuartiana, Ascoglossum calopterum, Trichoglottis philippinensis, and Flickingeria scopa.

NTG - can you post a shot of a single flower?
You must have one BIG g'house to house one of those! What's the "wing" span on the foliage?
Matt
The biggest leaf is 25 inches long. The spike is 38 inches long.
This Sunday I have a bit of time to pluck out one flower to photograph.
That is a mega plant , thanks for sharing it . Gin
The photo shows some dust. I am too lazy to wash, blot-dry, and take another batch. :-(

Lovely flower, I adore that little bit of white on the lip. Great job with the picture - don't mind the dust a bit!
I can't see any dust anywhere! And that is an outstanding close-up photo with excellent detail. Well done on both the plant and the photography!

Just wanted to say, awesome-looking grow area, too. Plants look incredibly lush!
After three years my grammatophyllum finally spiked! Four total. Today I noticed that some buds have turned yellow and dropped. I do live directly under the flight path of a major airport. Do you think plane exhaust could cause this drop? I am very upset that I may not get to see the flowers after all this time. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
