Those are really sweet--I don't think I've ever seen Ascos that color before. (Plant looks pretty darned good too--not a spot.)

Gee Gin, you're kinda depressing me here..... isn't there anything you grow that isn't fabulous? Can't you find one dumpy looking little something to give the rest of us a break??? I do love anything bright, and that ones a cutie!

That's a good looking flower,
I like the heavy substance and rich red.
I also think it's interesting how the color
doesn't have the "typical" sanderiana
darker lower half,
or tesselations.
I'd say the patterning reminds me of the harlequin phals.

I just love the plant , my friend... (Sis)... Alberta in Florida sent it to me 2 or 3 years ago .
I have my share of ugly plants , especially the Sharry it looks like it has the plague , and there are others . Thanks for looking, your comments are appreciated . Gin
