Default Paphiopedilum Honey (primulinum x philippinense alba)

    Hi y'all -

Still traveling and picked this up along the way. Long story that I already typed up once and lost in the internet cosmos somewhere, so I'll just say that this Paph. Honey is especially pretty (I think) because the alba form philippinense allows the primulinum colors to come through more strongly and clearly.

Photo quality, or lack thereof, is due to still being on the road and not having the usual equipment. But must get this posted before Bigfoot steps on it while loading the car. ()

Thanks, Yew! We are still drifting a bit, but will be home by Wednesday. Not quite sure whether I'm happy about that..... (P.S. Because of the alba/white/niveum connection, I'm calling this Paph. 'Yew Sung'!)

Thanks, Yew! I love the colors on this paph - very different from my usual. I haven't got up the courage, or really, just the urge, to get a species philippinense, so these primary hybrids are sufficing quite well.

And thanks, Kitty - love to see your paph collection when you have time.

These are so nice! I have one of 'these' as well. Large multigrowth plant that I got super cheap- I think by accident. I posted it a while back here and on another forum. Folks on the other forum disagreed that it was Honey, but looking at yours and other photos, I'm quite convinced that it is!
