Cattleya Walkerinter Coerulea, second blooming

Here is my Cattleya Walkerinter Coerulea a primary hybrid of Cattleya walkeriana and intermedia, blooming again. This is the second blooming. Last time it bloomed with a single flower, this time it has 5 (4 already blooming + 1 bud) The form is not better than last time, since it is more like the intermedia parent than the walkeriana parent, but I am quite happy, the flower count outweighs the narrow petals. This one will be a good breeding stock for my blue program in the future.

Very lovely! I have one somewhere in the greenhouse...but mine has never bloomed for me. I am going to have to show it these pics! Just gorgeous!

I am really happy that so many of you love it. Connie, you need to give this one a lot of light water and fertilizer. Mine doesn't get any rest. Also it seems that the flwering is independent of temp. Since last time it bloomed in May one of the hottest months and this time in Feb. end after a good cool spell. This one is just 3 years out of the flask and is quite compact, that it has taken from the walkeriana parent.
