Another plant that blooms on a regular basis. I split it awhile back and it looks like they are taking turns blooming.

I just saw this at the nursery...yours is prettier!
Gilded Urchin was one of my first orchids and it's one of the few survivors of the October Massacre, so I have a special affection for it. It's one tough plant. Yours has such a nice long spike for something that has been repotted! I put mine in S/H 2 months ago, so I expect it to sulk for a year or two. Good thing I have yours to enjoy in the meantime!
By the way, I LOVE your orchid display shelf. We have a wood "sculpture" - with our orchids on the deck - too!
Pretty!
Wonderful spider orchid, Connie! Lucky you!
cheers,

I just noticed this post, Connie. Love the blooms!
Ontario is now fully bloomed....this has to be one of the best bloomings I've had. The flowers are all the same size and displayed perfectly spaced.

Beautiful - what a lovely shape to the inflorescence!
Thank you so much. My husband thinks they look better when staked. But I think the flowers don't form right when the flower spike is forced to stand straight up. This time with the flower spike left to hang every flower is perfectly formed and they aren't crowded together.
