    Default Cattleya Rosella Bells 'Chime'

This is the second flowering since it was a seedling. Also the sister plant to the one in my Avatar.

Lovely, Roy! I noticed you have your catts in white rocks - is it larger-sized perlite? Are you growing them semi-hydroponically, or is the perlite just a layer?

It 100% coarse perlite Maura. In a previous location I grew only in bark, it doesn't work here. I changed to bark & perlite, started to loose all the roots again. The ones I had in all perlite just made roots hand over fist. SO, I just went thru the lot & repotted into perlite, Paphs included for the same reason.

Aha - I though as much. Since none of mine in S/H clay pellets have had time to rebloom, yours offer tremendous positive reinforcement. Thank you!
