These flowers opened too late for the competition table at our Soc. meeting last Sunday. So I am sharing with you.
There are 13 spikes. I also have a smaller pot with 6 spikes.

Lovely encyclias, Angela. I have some, but they are too small yet to bloom. I've heard that they are quite fragrant...True? Thanks for the great picture...Betty
Great looking Encyclia alata, Angela.Too bad about missing the OS competition. This would have surly one first prize! Wish I could smell it. I bet it is wonderful.

Yes there is a fragrance, as someone else described it does smell like Honey.
