    Default Phragmipedium Sorcerer's Apprentice 'Red Bird'

    I got this plant for my partner to make up for the SA that I killed back when I knew little else other than to avoid overwatering. It's a larger plant with larger flowers...about six inches tip to tip and four tall. He's very pleased and was excited for me to share. Very possessive, he says to me, "Just remember that it's MY plant and it's pretty." Of course I promptly responded, "Is that why YOU take care of it?" I do the work of course!

    Am soooo jealous. I really want this one but have never come across a descent plant. Please come and visit and kill one of my plants. I love your replacement gifts. LOL beautiful bloom.

    Thanks for the compliments! I really wanted to convince him to go for one of the showier phrags, but he wouldn't have it! This clone did manage to be a huge improvement on his first!
