most of the info in the internet says that this specie is from the sulu archipelago but i got a plant and the vendor told me it's from the north of luzon particularly in mountain province. so is phal bastianii really can be found in luzon?

"ORIGIN/HABITAT: Philippine Islands. This orchid has been described as occurring in the Sulu Archipelago, but details of habitat location and elevation were not reported. Christenson (1998), however, reported that these plants require intermediate to warm temperatures and regular watering throughout the year with medium to medium-bright light levels. Therefore, we have selected climate data accordingly, but the climate table and resulting cultural suggestions should be used somewhat cautiously until more precise habitat details are available. -- Source: Charles Baker"

well we will know once i see a flower.
It is found on Luzon, the species found in Sulu is most likely P.mariae.
thanks so much Ron. the info in the net really gives confusion to this two specie which are always confused with because of almost similar flower. below is photo of the bastianii plant i just bought recently. leaves are light green which is much lighter than my lueddemaniana. i hope it's the right one.
