    Cool stanhopea tigrina... so happy i could pee!

    my mission this weekend was bulb.echinolabium and an arachnis... well it rained. and rained some more... it was ridiculous... but i grabbed the biggest umbrella i could find and stomped, tromped my way to the flower market... to no avail...
    one little piggy was too stinky to come to market... the other too elusive
    but with some persuasion i managed to get a "ok! ok! i'll bring it tomorrow!"
    but with that being squared away, no arachnis in sight, and me still in the market....
    something else got me.... and it popped open this morning!

    Enjoy them while you can, Shane. The flowers are fleeting. (And unfortunately that is the case for all members of the Gongora tribe, as far as I know.) Nice pics!

    The pigs don't get much of that business any more. I hear that dogs are doing a lot of it now. (And since the dogs have no interest in eating truffles, the truffle harvester doesn't have to share any of them with the animal.)
