Hi everyone, I just bought a Bletilla ochracea, Bletia Catenulata, and a Eulophia Alta. All of them are tubers and terrestrial.
What type of soil mix can they grow in?
What type and size of pot should I use?
Thank you for your help,
Neo
These can be grown in the garden, in your area directly in the ground with organic material added to soil.
In a pot I would use fine grade bark, peat base potting soil (as for houseplants) and some fine grade tree fern mixed in. 4" pots. You may want to put some gravel in bottom of the pot to add some weight. I don't know how big the tuber is on Eulophia Alta, pot size would have to be determined based on that.
