Encyclia fragrans - new growth!
Geoff gave me this beautiful Encyclia fragrans. I had mentioned in one post that I was having no success finding one, and that it was the orchid I wanted most. I was, and still am, very grateful for his generosity!
When I got it, it was in beautiful, perfect condition (it's a division of Geoff's own plant). It has subsequently been through a great deal of challenges, repotting a few times included.
But it's been out on the balcony with my Catts and Cyms since spring, and it's a very happy camper!
I'm very proud of this new growth - maybe it will eventually bloom and I'll get to smell the heavenly scent it's supposed to have.
