Wrinkled pseudobulbs on Oncidium

Hey ya'll I have an Oncidium with severely wrinkly pseudobulbs. About four weeks ago I started soaking the entire pot in a bucket of water every couple days in an attempt to get it to absorb more water without luck. I checked the roots of the plant to make sure they had not rotted preventing it from absorbing water, but no rot was to be found. Does anyone have any suggestions or diagnosis on this issue?

These are mature pseudobulbs, I assume? That's pretty common. How do the newer growths look?

Yes, the older pseudobulbs will not really return to any where near what the new, fresh p-bulbs are.

If they are older they will not plump up. It's normal.
