    Smile Leaves and spikes and roots, oh my!

    It is definitely Phallie season here - I have teeny tiny spikes on several, but this one seems to be growing everything at once!!

    I admire people how get enthousiatsic about new growth in their orchids! You're a real hobbyist!
    And yes indeed this one looks like it will have a lot of reserves for giving you good flowers in time!

    I have to admit, nice looking growth is as satisfying for me as flowers are! And the effect beautiful flowers should have is completely ruined if the foliage or roots are poor or in distress.
