Here is a photo of one of the yearlings from my patio's neighborhood chipmunk den, that I snapped the other day when I was home sick. I believe he is trying to relay to me the Buddhist concept of "impermanence" as I've been secretly bickering at the little dude for digging in all of my nicely tended plants, which I then fix to perfection, only to come home after work with piles of potting mix, pebbles, and bark scattered around next to each pot! He likes to sit on Buddha's head and eat sunflower seeds, dropping the shells into his lap!
