    Default Phal Philippinensis

First bloom of this young orchid. The blooms are not impressive but I'm very happy anyway

    Enjoy!

I am very partial to phals. I like your simple white with the bit of yellow. It is elegant in it's simplicity...and as it gets bigger you will get much larger well formed flowers. Very nice!

They are nice. The quality of the blooms will get better as the plant gets bigger ad stronger.

Hi Aneta, the images of the orchids are very nice. It’s a hybrid of venosa and philippinensis species. Phal venosa is a species, that typically flower in the summer through the fall and Phal phillippinensis is a spring flowering species. Therefore, this hybrid produces the flowers in the spring as well as in fall.

Thank you eircsmith, but I don't agree with you. I believe that my Phal is pure Philippinensis, and if it's not, it is not Venosa cross for sure. If it was Venosa cross the lip would be different shape. Please, see more pictures. Flowers are fully open now.
