    Default Phrag Don Wimber!

My Don Wimber with one bloom and a second in bud! He also has lots of new root growth and a new fan poking up too! I'd say he's enjoying his new s/h medium!

    Always a nice one.

If it didn't get so darned big, this would be one of the few phrags I would have.

I agree, he IS taking up more room then I had allotted him, but after producing a second bud I guess I'll let him stay.

Great looking plant. Looks relatively compact for a Phrag.

Katherine - s/h stands for semi-hydro a growing technique using LECA pebbles as a medium. Chris - it is, I got this as a blooming size orchid and this is its first flowering. I expect to have to make more room for it in the coming years. Currently it's "wingspan" is about 18in, it seems to like to grow "out" instead of "up".
