My latest acquisition, Bllra Marfitch 'Howard's Dream'AM / AOS.
I take one plant for "show and tell" and return with 3, I just can't help myself! But the name is fitting and I really think she's a beauty, she is deep purple, not magenta.

great color and spots, I have one of these so I know the color is hard to catch
Thanks! I was adjusting the spike and I heard a pop! Hope I didn't break it somewhere!
Lovely blooms that is a real beauty.
I love this one. It has been a big favorite of mine since the first time I saw it. Yours is lovely. Great choice!

great plant Katherine, I had one for a number of years and it bloomed for me every year with multiple spikes. I got into miniature or compact plants and so Howards Dream was given away, the spikes got to be 3' tall. I used bamboo stakes for support .
Thanks Bill! I saw it while I was helping a friend carry her orchids into the meeting. It went on the sale table and I grabbed it! I've learned my lesson about the "Early Bird"!
Thanks Hank, I read that they can put out some incredible spike. Hope I am successful!
Beautiful! Second photo came out particularly well.
