    Default Aerides flabellata blooming

I bought this several years ago and I almost gave up on it since it refused to bloom. Suddenly it decided to show me it's true potential with 5 spikes. I read that it is fragrance but have not detected any. Thanks for looking.

congratulations, patience is golden. I have many vandecious orchids but until now none have bloomed for me. I can't wait until I have the first bloom.

My goodness - it must have been storing up all these blooms over the years! What a beautiful sight - congratulations on your obvious patience and excellent care.

Congrats Mazlan. You have given me hope - I've had mine for 2 years and no sign yet of blooming.
