    Default Renanthera in bloom

I got this plant about a year ago, and since then, it has added about 6" of top growth, as and has successfully bloomed twice. It has tried to bloom about 6 or 8 times, but because my collection is large, I don't always see the little spikes when they start, and being in Florida, the thrips are always active, so often times the spikes abort at under an inch long.

The plant is nearly 6' tall now, and has leaves almost all the way to the ground[COLOR="#FF0000"]

It gets direct morning and afternoon (late) sun. In between, dappled, light shade. So, yes, definitely a lot of light, but not direct midday sun.

Thanks, mine is in a similar situation so hopefully it will take off. Growth rate seems a little slow but maybe it's still acclimating to being out doors and not in a greenhouse.
