Beautiful blooms this year, this one blooms again in the fall for me. Two buds and four open flowers. Flowers are 5" across. Lovely fragrance

Always a lovely hybrid to see. One of the few green flowers I would not mind having if the plant size were not so large.

Gorgeous blooms and I love the lip markings! My Greenwich Elmhursts have always been more green than yellows-I'm trying to remember if they became yellower as the blooms matured.Did yours appear greener as they opened? Different clones vary, I guess. Just curious.

    Maura,
When orchids change color they always change from green to yellow or from yellow to orange.
With other words they get darker as older the flower gets.
