I realize my first and last post 2 years ago had so many typos.I just want to share 2 forms of Vanda sanderiana which I got last Sunday.
The lighter colored form has powder pink sepals and apple green lower petals (not quite captured in the photos) I don't know what kind it is but it is labelled as "Vanda sanderiana y-2012"
The darker colored form is darker than what I'm used to seeing. It was labelled "Vanda sanderiana (Ching) Aug 2009"
Since "true" forms of V. sanderiana are supposedly rare; a friend told me to check the inside "pouch." It should have no hole or dent/line as this would signify a back-cross to another Vanda. I could not detect any dent/line/hole so I'm quite happy with these two!
