Harry Potter isn't the only one who sees Dragons, though my Dragons only spit fire after a wee bit to much of the whiskey you know.................These bloom every season (late winter into spring). After their first year with me they really took off and produced many spikes month after month for about four months. Since repotting it has slowed down. Enjoy........AL![]()

However, I'm not sure that was what it was. The photos I have seen of claviodora do not match the flowers I saw, and I do know there are a couple other Gongora that also have the scent of cloves (like G. tricolor). The flowers I saw were very pale -- mostly white with lavender/purple flecks. However, it is possible that it may have been a semi-alba variety.
