Wonderful, Steve. I can't recall seeing that many flowers on alata before. I love Encyclias. Just purchased prismatocarpum and nocturnum.

Simply stunning! I agree with Wade, haven't seen that many flowers on Alata before. May I ask what your growing conditions are, particularly media? I haven't seen blooms on my alata in almost two years. :-(

Switched to a medium bark , a little perlite & a little charcoal about 6 months ago(was in s/h for about 10 yrs) & have noticed a definite increase in vigor.Light conditions about the same as my paph roth / paph roth hybrids.
