    Nice one, Veronica!

Is she that creamy yellow, or a purer white? Flashes can really distort the colors in a photo. I think the most challenging part of orchid photography is getting accurate colors.

Welcome to the addiction! Give into the force at the orchid show! You can always find another husband...

    Thanks Julie!

The colors are accurate. She is a creamy yellow.
The easy way to get accurate colors is not to used any mixed lighting. If you are going too use flash, make sure that that is the stronger source. and then just change the color temperature in your camera for the respevtive Kelvins.

    Default BD, can you help?

    Hi Veronica,

I'd like to followup on your lighting tips, but I need a little time to research your suggestions and ask questions. Can we move this thread to the Phal. photography forum, so I can ever find it again?

The forum has grown so, and it hard to find stuff at times...

    Thanks,
    Julie

    Oh it's so beautiful!
I was just in Miami and it was driving me crazy to see the street signs talking about the Orchid Show... my consolation was that the week after I came home, the NH show was on... it was my first.... it was small and crowded...
Would you mind buying me a plane ticket? I'd join you for the orchid show and take the blame for ALL of the orchids you buy...

OK fine, just tell us all about it :c)

    LOL - Thanks, BD!

The forum has grown so large, I often have to really dig to find past posts. Older age=more confusion.
