Phal new leaf pitted

this is only on two of my Phals and every plant is in the same enviroment. I'm ruling out its pest or diesease.. would you say its cold damage? but why some and not others? Notice how the very new leaf seems to look okay for now? Anyone has this affect them also?

What time of day do you water? Phals can get leaf damage (usually raised bumps but I don't think exclusively) from watering too late in the day. The image on the right side, I can see some of the bumps on a lower leaf that I described.

Concur with Harvey. Looks like a cold or mechanical damage to me.

I water in the late afternoon due to work I know it's not the best time to water. I will try and wipe away all water on surface to see if that helps

I have the same problem with having to water after work. I do try to water the phals first so they have as much time as possible to do good with the water. And I use slightly warm water and have managed to avoid any damage to my phal leaves, mostly, so far.

I used to take a plastic straw and go around blowing any water out of the crowns just to minimize risk or problems. My odd work schedule forced me to either get up real early and water, or do it in the afternoon.
