    The hybridists idea, I imagine, was to get the brilliant yellow of hirzii into the amazing shape of decumana ; but the result is merely a more rounded flower than decumana, with merely a flush of yellow replacing the natural pink of decumana. Still, quite an interesting mazzie, I think.
