My first homegrown Tolumnia flowers are open. Not a big flower count, but in my experience, getting the orchid to rebloom the first time is the hardest blooming to get. Then, IMO, it becomes easier to bloom it again in your environment. So I am glad to get this blooming out of the way. The last image is what it looked like when I bought this Tolumnia. You can see how much it has grown in the 2 years I have had it. My other 2 Tolumnia are getting close to blooming as well. 'Pink Panther' will be the next one in a couple of days.

Very nice Harvey
I agree with you about getting first time blooming in our care.the result isn't good as from the nursery but at least the plant adapt in our environment .later it will reward you by crazy blooming.
I started to keep tract by writing blooming date on each name tag because I can't remember for all
Oh, that is so pretty!! Such perfect little blooms.
cheers,
BD
Harvey, this one is really pretty, good growing!
looks awesome. Tolumnia we get here are quite small in size (leaf span)
Another beauty in your collection....Bravo.
The blooms look great! How much light does this Tolumnia get?
I have it under my 4 foot, 8 tube T5 lighting fixture. Probably 18 inches away from the tubes. I usually have the lights on from 4 am to 8 pm and recently moved the ending back to 7 pm for winter.
Do your plants get any natural light in additional to the T5s?
