I can not take full responsibility for this as I only got this about 2 months ago, when I got this orchid the spike was just starting to show so my credit is after that point. My first bucket orchid but not my last. The first picture is of the buds taken 4 days ago, weird looking things aren't they!

When out fertilizing this morning I notice at least 6 green bees on the flowers getting pollen, I tried for over 2 hours to try to get a picture and they were so blurry with their movement that I ended up giving up when my batteries went dead, my digital is not made for this kind of picture sorry to say. In all the years I have lived in Florida I have never seen this type of bee.

I had to make a run over to my local orchid supply today to pick up a couple of items, while there I showed her the pictures of this orchid, her comment was the same but also told me now she knows why I like Bulbophyllums!

Congrats Jack this species always very unique and odds but the water dripping is so pretty if you can photograph it.

If my camera was able to give me fine details like rain drops I would water everyone of the plants I have before taking a picture because I agree with you, I guess it's time to start looking for a new digital camera, Thanks Zainal!
