    Smile Paph fairrieanum In Bloom

    This is the 3rd year I have had this and the 3rd year it has bloomed.

    The next growth is decent in size. I don't know if it will bloom this season or wait till next year. So far only one growth per year has bloomed.

    very nice, like that bg dorsal! paphs have never been easy for me i have about 6 paphs but as of date ive yet to bloom any!

    So far the dorsal is not upright and has an unexpected 'ruffle' in it this year. Hopefully it will open more.

    Nice growing Harvey, hope it straightens up a bit for you. Maybe it had a dry spell as it was opening?

    I am not sure why it opened poorly. It did have even watering and I did fight mealy bugs on the long stem a bit but they never had time to do damage, I think. But I still love it. There are 2 new growths, one pretty far along, maybe it will bloom this season too.
