Default Cattleya x dayana or laelia dayana

Friend gave me about 2 months ago to my surprise one bud arising from the matured pseudobulb. The plant is so small and I would say dwarf shall I call Cat dayana or Laelia dayana?

The species formerly known as Laelia dayana... Yes, it is always a small plant, sometimes very small, with a rather large flower. Very nice color here, especially the lip with its characteristic lines, but the flower looks a little off. It is probably capable of better form next time.

Since this isn't Laelia anymore (Sorry folks, they never should have been.) and dayana/Dayana already had multiple other identifications in Cattleya, it is now C. bicalhoi. If you can't bring yourself to call it a Cattleya then Sophronitis dayana or Hadrolaelia dayana are the alternatives.
