brown leaves on my Cyp.

Hi, I am new in this Forum. Wonder if I could find someone that grows Cypripedium? My daugher gave me a Cyp. 'Inge'. I potted it in new medium and put it outside where the temps are still in the 40s at night, and mid 70s during the day. It's in morning sun.
About a week after it arrived I noticed 2 leaves looking watersoaked, then turned brown. I hate to take it out again (potted it 3 times for lack of knowing what medium it needs) to check the roots.
Your advise is very much appreciated.

Welcome. To post a photo, simply scroll down the page a bit past the Submit Reply and Preview Post buttons. You will see the Manage Attachments button. Click that button once and a new window will open. Here you can choose to upload images in a couple of ways. Once you have uploaded your images, you will need to insert them into your post. Scroll back up to your message thread that you have not 'submitted' yet. Here, across the top of the white box where you are writing your message you will see a grey bar. This bar has several things in it. You will see the paper clip symbol. Click it once and then select the image you have uploaded. The message text will display "attach(some number)attach" once you have inserted the image correctly. [This is just one way to insert an image--there are others you will learn too]

Good luck with the photos. It really helps to have a photo of the problem so that the members here can give you a better diagnosis.
