Hi all,
I'm in the middle of a massive repotting effort. Some new orchids, some that I've had here for a long time that are terribly over potted, etc. Nice way to spend a day....but....
Just carried one of my NOID dendrobiums into the kitchen and saw two insects. Scale? White, long antennae, flat round bodies. *sigh*
What the heck do I do now? Should I treat the entire dendrobium growing rack? Also, I have parrots and cats that share the growing room with the orchids, so if there is a non-pesticide way to kill these guys without exposing my birds/cats/people to the chemicals, all the better!
Back to potting....
