And you are right, they are super slow growers!
They seem slow because they don’t grow many leaves. But then they don’t need many to flower. I once had a flaskof the white ones, alba I suppose, and ithey took no longer than other vandaceous things, it was just that they first flowered when only had 2 pairs of full size leaves, whereas other stuff needed far more - like (Vanda) coeruleas first flowered with a dozen pairs of leaves. But worth waiting for, and interestingly the flowers on several plants were not all identical. I kept two in my collection , mAy have shown them here in the past. One had a greenish tint, and the other a very pale pink band somewhere about the lip as I remember. Not in my collection now alas.....
